Fearlessly Into The Unknown
As soon as something unknown or unfamiliar comes into your life you tend to loose your sense of certainty, and out of this uncertainty your mind starts to ‘make up’ potential meanings in trying to establish a level of certainty. Most of the time this not only creates fear, but also breeds it. Fear gets constructed in the imagination by ‘making-up’ meanings to events and circumstances that has not happened – and probably never will. It is only natural to feel fear as it is one of your most primordial instincts designed to protect you.
Unfortunately, we’ve come to mistreat the emotion of fear since we tend to treat a lot of trivial things as potentially dangerous by imagining the worst possible outcomes. This is what keeps us trapped in inaction and procrastination. The unknown is just too scary, so you stay in your comfort zone where you feel certain that you know what to expect and how to handle it.
Those who achieve extraordinary lives share the fundamental strength of courage. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to break through your 'limitations' and take action despite feeling the fear of uncertainty. Courage breeds more courage. Only by using your ability to break through the fears that prevents you from living your life full out, will you ever experience the fullness of what you can really be. Courage is not a special gift or a special skill, but simply you deciding to take action even though you feel the fear. Most fears are imaginary anyway. Fear is the product of your imagination because you mostly fear that which hasn’t happened yet and anything that is still to come can only exist in your imagination. read further...

Your Foundational Key To Success
Winning and losing in life is an internal game and only you get to decide whether you are a success or a failure. The BIG question is not whether your results are a success but rather if you are actually producing a result? There is a very powerful idea that can transform the way you approach your goals and even your life. The idea is this: Everything worth doing is worth doing poorly.
At first it might not sound like an incredibly positive statement and it probably isn’t, but what it will do is to get you to take action. Without action there are no rewards. Out of the fear of failure most people never even attempt something because they are afraid that the results they will produce will not be ‘perfect’. It is not the fear of the result, but the fear of how it will reflect on them that actually prevents them from taking action.
Unfortunately we live in a culture that looks down on so called failure. The truth however is that without failure you just won’t get anywhere. Those who are extremely successful are the few who’s learned to eliminate the judgment of failure all together. You and only you have the ability to make something good or bad, right or wrong, successful or a failure.
The very nature of how we learn something as human beings relies on failure. It is the only way we can adjust our actions for it provides us with the necessary feedback that allows us to be more efficient, more effective and more fulfilled. Remember that you can never learn less. You can only learn more. Click here to read full article >>

Whyfore Art Though?
I believe that we all have a purpose for being here. There is a reason why you are here in this universe and that there is a specific role for you to fulfil. Even though this is a belief, I do think that anyone who is in touch with their spirit (or soul or other self) will know that there is a part of you that long for more than just the day to day physical needs of life. We all long for more and this longing, in a sense is fulfilled by your purpose. Your purpose in life is not a pre-assigned role, but rather a decision that you make as a result of introspection. There is no black board in the sky on which your purpose is written. There is however feelings and experiences that you long to experience while you are here and your purpose is what will cause you to experience, feel and be that which you long for on the deepest level of being a human "being."
The original Latin meaning of the word purpose is derived from the word intention; meaning that your purpose is there by (your) design and is something that you intend either consciously or unconsciously. When you intend for something to happen you are the one that makes it happen; it is not something or someone outside of yourself. Most people spent all their lives waiting for "a sign" as to what their purpose is. They spend all their lives trying to find their purpose instead of just deciding and using the power of intent to make things happen. Nelson Mandela as a young man saw things he did not like and he decided that his purpose in life will be to rid the world of racial inequalities. This became the very reason for him living and even though his purpose lead him on a very rocky road, his purpose did not change. All this was born in a truly committed decision. His committed decision lead to a definiteness of purpose; something that did not change, despite all the odds being against him. He found a purpose that was much bigger than himself that gave him leverage to achieve the impossible. Click here to read more >>

Your Past: More is Less.
"The past is our definition. We may strive, with
good reason, to escape it, or to escape what is
bad in it, but we will escape it only by adding
something better to it."
- WENDELL BERRY
Leslie Poles, the famous writer once said that "the past is like a foreign country; the do things differently there." Your past can do only one of two things for you. It can either empower you and serve as a place to learn and take joy from or it can limit you and keep you locked up in your rigid older self.

Count Your Chickens Before They've Hatched.
We live in a culture were the predominant psychology is based in fear. The fear of loss drives and motivates most people's decisions and behaviours. From this mindset the culture invented mechanisms to protect itself and saying like "don't count your chickens before they've hatched" is but only and illustration of how the culture prepares and "grooms" us from an early age to settle for the lowest denominator. "Go for the lowest and easiest to make sure that you at least get something." Don't expect too much, just in case you don't get anything at all. From this mindset we loose all our power; the power that is born in the belief that we are indeed worthy of all the success and all the abundance that we can possibly dream of.
Expectation is indeed one of the most powerful resources that you possess. An intense anticipation can transform possibility into reality. One of the biggest reasons why most people never get to live their dreams is because they lack the motivation to follow their dreams. The real purpose of a goal is to act like a directional mechanism that guides your life in a specific direction. A strong and exciting goal has the power to motivate and inspire you. When you fuel this goal with expectation you set in motion an unstoppable force that will give you that internal drive that will enable you to move mountains. When you count your chickens before they've hatched you create a sense of excitement and enthusiasm that has immense power to motivate you. Success and achievement are rarely the result of your ability but rather the product of your motivation; of your ability to consistently take action on your dreams and goals. Click here to read more…

Is your life working?
When you relinquish your need to judge everything as being good or bad, right or wrong you will start to awaken to the perfection of everything in life. Hot cannot exist without cold and happiness cannot exist without sadness. Therefore you should welcome every experience and bless every situation. Your life is exactly the way it should be. You are exactly the way you should be. Whether you say it's working or whether you say it's not, either way you will be right. When you say it, you start to believe your own story and when you believe it, it becomes your experience. That is what feels real and that is what you call "the truth."
Life works with an unfaltering exactitude. Nothing is left to change. You are exactly where you should be as a result of what you chose, either consciously or unconsciously. Instead of blaming yourself you can start to see the beauty of this and start to see that it is in fact perfect – maybe not in it's experience but most definitely in it's conception. What is perfection anyway? Is it not merely a judgement? Read More…

I Do therefore I am: The True Value and Meaning of Experience.
We all long to experience the objects of our desire. Knowing simply isn't enough. We want to feel and we want to experience that which we know by engaging all our senses and all of our nervous system to fully comprehend that which exists only as impulses in our minds. Until and unless you actually experience something it will remain an idea and a concept that will always leave you wanting more. Experience is the process by which you turn your intellectual knowledge into a physical experience and when you experience it, it becomes real because you get to feel it in your nervous system. You involve your emotions and, in the process, you get to feel the fullness of a concept turned real and made manifest in reality. You can know yourself to be kind, but until and unless you do something kind, the idea will remain intellectual and weak. Only when you take the idea and act on it will you create the experience. Having the experience of kindness is what you really want.
Experience then is something we create by taking an idea and putting it to use through action. It is when you use your will to take action when you get to "see" the invisible idea take shape in physical form and through physical experience. We all have a deep seeded need to experience that which we know intellectually and that which we crave to experience through our senses and our emotions. From this point of view we are all constantly striving to experience through our physical bodies and our emotions that which we hold as an idea in our intellect and our minds. Great Expectations?
or she begins with some wild expectations." - RALPH CHARELL
What are your expectations for your life? Are you excited about your future or are you facing it with apprehension and fear? For most people the future holds too many uncertainties and the fear of what might happens tends to overshadow the ray of light that represents the life they ultimately desire. One of the hardest things to do in life is to lift yourself out of your current circumstance and step up to the level of life you desire.
We all live with an unconscious expectation of ourselves and our own lives. This expectation not only determines what we have in our lives but it also represents what we are willing to settle for. Expectation is a very powerful emotion and one that very few people ever learn to fully cultivate. Whatever you expect with certainty is what you will get in your life. Expectation is the emotional state where an idea becomes so real that you feel it even though you can't hold it yet. Expectation is like an invisible magnet that will attract into your life that which you expect. When you expect something you activate and engage those parts of your mind and your nervous system that can empower you to think the unthinkable and do the undoable. One of the most powerful ways to cultivate expectation is to develop a very clear vision for your life.
Most people never even make the time to really define what they want from their lives, but even those who do follow the hope and pray strategy. They kind of know what they want but they don't believe they can have it, so they hope that something will happen and come along their life path to fulfil their desires. Expectation however, is a completely different mindset. It is a mindset of absolute certainty that can be consciously cultivated. Inherent in hoping there is a sense of doubt as you always hold two opposing results in your minds eye. When you expect something you know it is definitely happening. The very focus of your mind dwells upon one definite end result. To turn a hope into an expectation, you simply eliminate doubt and fear by eliminating the opposing outcome. Instead of "seeing" something fail or succeed, you now only see the success. With expectation your actions, your words and your imagination dwells upon and reflects you already having and being exactly what you want. When you expect something you remove the doubt that is inherent in hoping. More…

The Effects of Procrastination
One of the most obvious effects of procrastination is the failure to reap the rewards that would come from taking action. When you procrastinate you simple fail to take action on the very things you know will bring you the rewards that you desire. Although you know what you want and even what you need to do to get it, you still have to take action and it's usually at this point where procrastination sets in.
Because the results that you desire are often something bigger and better than what you currently have, you must step outside your comfort zone to get it. You might have to take actions that you are not comfortable with to which your unconscious mind reacts by "protecting" you against that which is uncomfortable. Although the short term effects of procrastination might seem as "positive" the long term effects are almost always negative.
Failing to reap the rewards of taking action can have many knock on effects. Taking action on your ideas and desires is one of your most empowering gifts. It is the process by which you can make the intangible tangible. Through your actions and your behaviour you create or un-create your life. It's not only the direct results of your actions that creates you outcomes, but often the very fact that you are actually consciously affecting the conditions of your life. It not just your actions, but rather your failure to take action that will have a greater effect on the rewards you reap from life. From this point of view the effects of procrastination is not just a direct but also an indirect loss of rewards. Every action is a cause set in motion that affects and build on past and future events to the point where we can never really determine the actual effect of one specific action. More than anything else, action opens you up to opportunity. More…

How to Create Sustainable Success
This way of thinking, this mindset, acts like a virus that can “kill” you. If not emotionally then spiritually. Our modern culture is filled with numerous examples of top achievers who seemingly have everything but they are deeply unhappy and constantly have to battle with the challenges within their own character. They fail to grasp the true purpose of success. From it's latin origin, the word success actually means "to advance" or "to progress" which implies that success is not "something" you get at the end but a process that has very little to do with the end result. From this point of view success is what will improve your life as it is what moves you forward to a better experience of life.
In their pursuit of a greater quality of life most people loose sight of the real reason why they actually want to be successful in the first place. It is never the "things" but rather the way you believe these things will make you feel once you've got them. Your success will be either obtainable or sustainable. Most of your desires will be obtainable within your lifetime but this no guarantee that you will be happy and fulfilled. When you strive for collecting and accumulating "things" you will experience very little fulfilment as you will always rely on something external to give you the feelings that you want to experience inside you; feelings that you believe will come from having what you pursue. Looks Can Be Perceiving.
Don't you sometimes wish you had the ability to just change some bad experience in your life instantaneously? At times we all indulge in the lure of quick fixes and the challenge of working through our problems often seem too arduous and like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. There is, however a “quick fix” that can help you change virtually anything immediately. It is one of the key differences that separates happy, fulfilled and successful people from those who life a life of frustration, reaction and quiet desperation.
We all live in a world that we can "see" and "touch", but this world is not really a physical world at all. It is actually a perceived world that exists only in your mind. Although the physical world might be exactly the same, different people will "see" different things and consequently have different experiences. What we see might be the same but whet we perceive is very different for every person. When someone is born with thick corneal opacities they cannot see. Even when, later in life, an operation gives sight to that person, the person still cannot see because to them the world they "see" is just a blur of light, colours and disorganized shapes. There is no meaning to what they experience with their senses. Scientist used to believe that we respond to information flowing into the brain, but we now know, scientifically, that it is actually our interpretation of the information that determines our response. Our past experiences create an expectancy that is primarily based on what we "know" and what we "know" is that which has happened before. Click here to read the article >>

There is no place like now.
Apart from wanting to be somewhere else, most people today also live by a philosophy of "some day" that allows them to manipulate time. "I can do it, but just not today. I'll do it when…" and they use these excuses to stay in their comfort zones. The problem is that both someday and somewhere are undefined and illusionary. Somewhere does not exist and someday never comes, although you keep hoping that it does. This can be very disempowering and is responsible for a lot of disappointment and frustration for a lot of people. Click here to read more >>

The ride of your life: who's driving?
One of the biggest challenges that most people face in the exiting times we live in, is the feeling that their lives are just spiralling out of control. They feel like the events and circumstances of their lives have lead them along a torturous route and that they have no control over all the misfortunes and wrong doings that brought them to this moment in time.
The truth is that your life will not change until and unless you assume full responsibility for it. Responsibility, or your ability to respond, is not a way of accepting some form of blame as most people think, but rather a way of accepting your ability to respond to any situation. It is absolutely critical to realize and accept that it is never the actual events of your life but only your responses to these events that will shape and create your life. You are never the creature of circumstances and you have the ultimate ability to consciously decide what things mean and how to respond to it. You are the only one that can and the only one that will take you where you want to go in your life.
Responsibility is not some skill you need to go and find outside of yourself but it is something you already possess. All you need to do is to assume this power that calls on you to stop blaming any and everything other than yourself. Most of us have been conditioned to blame someone else for the parts of our lives that don't work. When you take full responsibility for your life you put yourself back in charge; you get back in behind the wheel of your life and now you have the ability to control and direct your life the way you choose to. Are You Building Snowman of a Snowball
Momentum is what arouses action and puts things in motion. Once something is in motion it tends to stay in motion and as you build up speed you become unstoppable. With momentum your actions become self-reinforcing and the more you do the more you are capable of doing.
Without momentum you have to consistently apply a lot of effort and willpower that will eventually cause you to just give up. With momentum your truly leverage your actions and empower yourself to have a greater effect with less effort. You want your actions to become "effortless" and be in a state where everything just flows. This is where you create "magic" and where the process of achieving becomes just as joyous and fulfilling as the actual achievement. With momentum your actions become self-reinforcing and the more you do the more you are capable of doing. Click here to read more>>

Thoughts Are Things
The proper fruit of knowledge is action. It is true that gaining knowledge can make us feel more capable but knowledge in itself will not produce the results we really desire. One of the biggest myths that is prevalent in the information age is the notion that knowledge is power. Knowledge is not power. It is only potential power. What you do with what you know is where the real power is
Think of your knowledge and ideas as an elastic band. It has the ability to be stretched, but until and unless you stretch it you are not using it for its real purpose. Information is usually something external. When you learn it you transform it into knowledge and when you act on it, it becomes part of your life. To truly experience anything in life you must take action. Knowing simply isn't enough. We all want to feel and this only comes from engaging "all of you" - by engaging all of your senses to experience the fullness of life in all its abundance.

A Course of Action
A Course of Action is an exciting new online course that focuses specifically on one of the most fundamental ingredients for success and that is the ability to take action. No matter what you want to create or achieve or accomplish in your life in order to do it you have to take action. You have to engage those parts of you that can take an idea and make it real.
To truly empower yourself to consistently take action you have to dig a little deeper and look at what really drives you to do what you do. We've all had the experience of wanting to create a change or accomplish a goal but after a week we went back to our old ways. Why? Most of the time the problem is not with knowing what to do, but doing what you already know. A Course of Action is specifically designed to eliminate this destructive pattern that not only breaks up your self esteem but also reinforces negative beliefs about what you are really capable of.
One of the major challenges we face today is that we are inundated with information and knowledge. It's coming from everywhere. The truth however is that information and knowledge will not change your life. What will change your life is action. It does not take a complicated idea to change your life, nor does it take many ideas. It takes ideas that you can use and apply. The proper fruit of knowledge is action and it is only your actions that will produce real results in your life. Action is the key ingredient that transforms ideas, desires and information into reality.
If you are really serious about realizing your dreams, goals and ideas, then over the next seven days A Course of Action can help you do just that. Conveniently delivered to your mailbox, in just 30 minutes a day you can learn and apply some fundamental principles that will compel you to take action and create your life the way you really want it. click here to enroll for free>>

What if there was no failure?
Success or failure is never based on the outcome of the situation but rather on your beliefs about what constitutes success or failure. If there are no failures what would you attempt that you feared in the past? If you had the belief that there are no failures but only results what would you attempt to do? The number one reason why people fail is not because of ability, talent or resources; but because they never even take the first step. They are immobilized by their fear of failing and looking bad. Can it be that not taking action and spending a lifetime wanting something in vain be the ultimate failure? What if taking action and producing a result means success and procrastination means failure? You get to choose. Read the full article here>>

The Universe Rewards Action
There are two very effective ideas that you can adopt and apply in your life right now to help you take action and produce real and measurable results. Firstly, realize that there are no failures, only outcomes. Action, and only action will produce results. Your fears are all made up and often based on other people’s perception of success and failure. Don’t try and fight against your fears, but use it and embrace it as a map or a guide for personal growth. Everything you want is on the other side of fear. When your fear is keeping you from taking action on some idea you should know that the rewards will come from using the fear as a call to take action, despite not feeling “comfortable” doing it. When you take action despite your fears you have to stretch yourself to do something that you previously could not do. Now you’ve grown in your capability to comfortably deal with it. Most of what we fear is based on not knowing the outcome; of feeling uncertain.
When you use fear to grow as a person you use fear like dumbbells to build your emotional muscle. So many books and teachers these days try and tell you how to overcome fear. Why? Fear is your friend and like any friend it only serves you if you treat it well. Trying to overcome it will leave you trying and not getting anywhere. Fear is a normal part of life and like all your emotions it serves a very important purpose in guiding your actions. When you use it you are guided in all your ways. If you ignore it you will be misguided and if you fight it you will always loose.
Don’t try and get everything right. Just get it started. So often we try to have everything perfect before we even attempt it and all too often we end up never even doing it. Getting it started is far more important as it builds momentum. Action breeds more action. Success is not a single cataclysmic event but rather a series of small successes each leading to and building on each other. Every action you take will produce a result and if you use that result as guidance for taking the next step you will eventually reach your destination.
"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

Easy does it, doesn't it?
One of the major reasons why most people never achieve great is because they fail to even start. If you want to achieve something great the thought of it is often so overwhelming that most people never attempt it. They made it way too big in their heads, because if you think about it every great achievement happens by taking the first step and then taking a series of smaller steps. Neither success (nor failure) is a single cataclysmic event.
When you set out to accomplish something that seems “big” there is one essential skill you need to learn and that is to master the art of chunking things down. No matter how big the task you can always break it down into smaller “bitesized” tasks. Smaller tasks are less overwhelming and more believable and therefore you are more likely to take action.
Feeling overwhelmed by the “size” of the task is almost always imagined – you make the task out to be too difficult or too big. Whenever anything is “too” you should realize three things and act on it: Firstly you are making it up as nothing can be too – trust that you always have the ability to deal with anything that comes across your path. Secondly whenever you perceive anything as "too" you should know that it is only your perception – you are controlling and directing (or misdirecting) your focusing in such a way that you feel overwhelmed. Your focus equals your reality. Focus on that which you can control. Thirdly, Chunk it down – break the too up into smaller tasks that is not too. Just do something that you feel you can comfortably do and by doing this you will build momentum.
You do not have to see the whole staircase, you just need to see the next step! If you want to drive a thousand miles at night you won’t see the destination and your headlights only allow you to see a hundred yards in front of you. If you keep focusing in front of you and what you can see you will eventually be able to travel great distances. This is also very true for your life and it will empower you to make great journeys. Just take that first step and next one will unfold and become “visible” as you move forward and take the next and the next until you wake up one day to look back on a mighty mountain that you climbed without even noticing. A world famous mountaineer was once asked “how do you do it?” his answer was profound: “step by step!”

Are you living your life or still thinking about it?
One of the biggest challenges with procrastination is that it makes you feel out of control. When you feel like life is controlling you, you will inevitable face some tough challenges in all areas of your life. You will have problems within yourself that you will find increasingly difficult to handle effectively. Procrastination is like weeds in your garden. At first you barely notice them until you wake up one morning to find that the weeds have taken your garden. Without an effective strategy to face procrastination head on and "kill" it while it's little, you will eventually have a lot more to deal with.
By developing your ability to take action; to "just do it" you develop your ability to make things happen. Successful people do things a certain way and they have a specific psychology that causes them to act almost instinctively. It is not your conditions that will determine the quality of your life, but rather your decisions about what things mean and what you need to do about it. Procrastinating and postponing will leave you stranded in a life of mediocrity where you are not all that you can be. A life where you are not truly fulfilled.
Whether you are procrastinating on big life decisions or on small annoying tasks, there is a strategy that will help you to eliminate procrastination. By learning and adopting the right psychology you will empower yourself to make the necessary changes. By discovering the cause of your behaviour you can change it and tap into your unconscious system that controls all your automatic "responses." (in)action is not a "passive read", but an action guide that not only tells you what to do, but gets you to do what you know. With a variety of exercises and action steps you are guided every step of the way to becoming more decisive and action-minded. Talk is cheap and only action gets rewarded.
There is a saying that "the universe rewards action" and this not only true but also absolute as everything you do in life has a consequence. Like The Butterfly Effect your small actions leads to an incredibly complicated array of events and circumstances that is way beyond what you or I can possibly comprehend. Life is like a symphony and only those who take out their earplugs get to hear it. Life is like a play and only those without their eye flaps get to see it.

Designing your Future Today
The main difference between a phenomenal success and an average Joe comes down to focus. It’s true that you can change your mind/goals as often as you like but that is what makes an for a mediocre life (life that is less than your potential). Controlling and directing your mind and focus on a single definite purpose is step one in achieving any goal (Napoleon Hill explains this very well).
All of creation is actually by design. Manifesting/creating anything is always from “thought” to “thing” and it is fuelled by emotion. When you take an idea and are moved by it you take action and you create a result. It always starts with an idea, but in our limited capacity to fully comprehend the complexity of life as a whole we only “see” things partially and have to create in a process where ideas unfold. This almost always require of you to make adjustments – the best way from A to B is not necessarily the quickest way. Any goal we pursue is not about the actual goal but more about the person you become. This is why so many self made millionaires can make another million when they go bankrupt, but a lottery winner end up dead or dead broke within 3 years.
It’s never about getting “things” anyway. What we are actually after are the feelings/emotions that we think we will get from it. Being clear on what you really want will enrich your experience of life greatly. You’ll stop pursuing “things” but start pursuing emotions and qualities that you want as a person. These things are eternal; that what you become as a person can never be taken from you and is the real “purpose” of life. To become something an not to collect things. This will give you fulfilment which is one of the most amazing human emotions.
Overcome procrastination, take action and create results. Talk is cheap and remains a dream until you take action. "One day" usually never comes. Action makes your desires real. Procrastination keeps your potential locked up and prevents you from designing the destiny of your choosing. You get to choose between a life of choice or a life of chance. What's it going to be?
The definitive guide to overcoming procrastination is now available for immediate download. By join the (in)action affiliate program you can earn while promoting one of the most insightful self improvement guides of the year.

Thoughts to Action - Creating your world
“To put away aimlessness and weakness, and to begin to think with purpose, is to enter the ranks of those strong ones who only recognize failure as one of the pathways to attainment; who make all conditions serve them, and who think strongly, attempt fearlessly, and accomplish masterfully.” – James Allen
Everybody keeps saying that you must think positively, but how? The problem with positive thinking is that you have to think about it. Thinking is nothing but the process of asking and answering questions in your mind. It is our unique ability as humans to "reason." But, for most this is their own worse enemy. You can take conscious control of your thoughts by taking control of the questions you ask yourself. By habitually asking empowering questions you become a "positive thinker"
Thinking is also vitally important in controlling and directing the focus of your mind. Your focus or concentration is effectively your focus. Visualization is important because your mind thinks in images. We all visualize whether we know it or not and we use words to communicate with ourselves. These words or internal conversations help "build" the images that is thought. With visualization we think things into being - our consistent thoughts implanted into the reticular activating system of the brain which is designed to screen what we pay attention to. The average human being thinks more than 69 000 thoughts a day. The problem is that 90% of these thoughts are the same as yesterday - we have habitual thoughts that either empower or disempowering us. Be daring in your thinking and grow in your thoughts.
Be careful who and what you surround yourself with as it greatly effects not just what you think about but also how you think about (your) life. Acting on your thought is often hard to do, but it is exactly that way by design. That resistance is what you need to grow as a person to grow in your thinking and your capacity to create. You grow your "emotional muscle" when you act on the things that feels uncomfortable. The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the amount of discomfort you can comfortably deal with. You grow when you go from awkward to natural. A thought without an action do not produce a result, but it will inspire all your actions.
“All that you accomplish or fail to accomplish with your life is the direct result of your thoughts.” – James Allen
Only action create results. Procrastination will keep you from doing the very things that will give you an extraordinary quality of life. Taking conscious control of your thinking will empower you to push past apparent obstacles and by installing habitual patterns of thinking about your life and yourself will crumble procrastination and drive you to action and action is what create results.

The Root Cause For Procrastination
Your conscious mind is very limited in its ability to deal with life. That over which you have conscious control is mostly limited to one thing at a time. This is why using your willpower to create any real change rarely works long term. What you need to do is to change your unconscious or automatic behaviour which resides in your unconscious mind, that part of you that controls all the vital function of your body and mind. You can try and overcome procrastination by using willpower but it will usually be a short term change. The cause for procrastination is not your conscious actions, but your unconscious associations that is to a large extent responsible for your behaviour.
Your nervous system is designed to preserve you and when fear presents itself your nervous system, through the working of your sub-conscious, will "kick in" to "protect you. The ironic thing is that we teach ourselves to fear certain things by making false associations to life experience. You literally create neurological links to experiences that gets "stored" in your nervous system so that you can act quickly and accordingly next time. Whenever something happens to you, you assign a meaning to it by the way you communicate the experience to yourself. Click here to read more >>

Can you overcome procrastination?
The abundance that modern life offers us tends to overwhelm us which leads to an emotional overload that will distract you and scatter your effort and concentration. There simply isn't enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time for the most important things in your life. Success at anything in life, whether it be your finances, your relationships or your body, requires an investment of time and effort from you. You need to focus and concentrate your physical and emotional resources on creating a desired result.
The first step in overcoming procrastination it to get really clear on exactly what you want from every area of your life. This clarity will give you the power to look past distractions that may throw you off course. It gives you a direction and a target and will help to build a mental picture for your life. One of the most destructive effects of procrastination is that it makes you feel out of control; like the events of your life is controlling you. If you don't know what you want it is all too easy to jump from the one task to the next. Apart from knowing what you want you should also develop some strong reasons why you want it. This will give you a sense of purpose and motivation that is critical for staying focussed long term.
The truth is that most people know what they need to do to create their life the way they want it. The challenge is not with knowing what to do, but in doing what you know. The only way you will create any result in your life is by taking action and procrastination is what prevents you from acting on the very things you know would give you a greater quality of life. The reason why people procrastinate is primarily because of fear, especially fear of failure. By not taking action and postponing important actions you avoid the potential for failing. The only reason why you procrastinate about anything is because at some level you link more pain to taking action than to not taking action. The ridiculous truth is that these "links" are mostly conjured up (by you) in your mind and they are not even real. When you make a task too big in your mind it will overwhelm you and it would seem too difficult and too big and you will end up procrastinating. Click here to read more>>

How to Define Motivation
Motivation is nothing but a “motive” for action; a reason that gives purpose and direction to your behaviour. When you become aware of and choose consciously your purpose or reason for doing something and taking action, then you create internal motivation. External motivation then, is when something in your environment triggers a motive or a reason for taking action.
When you see someone do something extraordinary it might trigger the desire within you to do the same and you will feel motivated. We all experience this daily with movies, music, theatre and books. These are all very good sources of motivation. Even if it is just to help you feel good.
But all that can be short lived if you don't find your real drive and purpose. This is what I call internal motivation which is a deep emotional and spiritual drive that outlives distractions, disappointments and failures. You develop internal motivation by finding your real reason or purpose for doing something. Knowing what motivates you externally will help you find and define this internal drive. Your motive or reason for taking action will create within you a need that must be fulfilled. It creates a hunger that will push you until.
Think of any great success in any area of life and you will find that their inner drive, hunger and sense of purpose propelled them past setbacks and disappointments. You too can achieve extraordinary things, but you will need the motivation if you are to persevere. Find your passion by thinking deeply on what you love and what you hate for that is what moves you.

Procrastination and Fear
If you think about it; we judge people by their behaviours. We seldom judge someone by his or her words. We want to see them do it, otherwise we will judge them by the fact that they are only "talking big" and that they don't practise what they preach. The surprising fact to most people is that you use the same system of judgement that you use to judge others for yourself. Subconsciously you judge yourself by your actions and not your words. You judge yourself by what you do and not what you say you will do. Doing what you know and say to yourself makes you congruent – it means that your unconscious mind are given the same "message" both verbally and physically by your actions.
Actions do speak louder than words. We as human beings want to experience things – knowing of something just aren't good enough. It is the experience of life; of feeling it in your nervous system that makes it real and it is that experience that your spirit is searching for. When you procrastinate you almost go against your very nature of wanting to experience something. The critical distinction however is that procrastination is a form of self preservation. The reason why you procrastinate is because of fear (even if it is subconscious) and you are designed to react to fear in such a way to ensure your survival. Fear is a signal to your mind, your body and your emotions to be prepared for a threat and to be ready to protect yourself.
Weather a fear is physical/external or weather it is unconscious and emotional your will act and react in a similar way. This is an instinctive reaction and preparation as your number one priority as a human being is to protect yourself and ensure your survival.
The reason why so many people stay stuck in life is because of fear of the unknown. Whenever you approach something that you've never done before you automatically fear it because you don't know what it will lead to. Will it lead to pain or pleasure? Your mind will then search your memory bank to look for similar experience and then come up with something based on your past experience and filter them through your beliefs to determine the best course of action for you. All emotional fear therefore is "imaginary" as it comes from your mind and not from actual reality. It is created and constructed in your mind and not from real life.
